Driver must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license and have
a major credit/debit card in their name. Debit cards must have the Visa or
MasterCard logo.
Young Drivers (21-24) are subject to
a $25/day Young Driver fee. Quoted rates do not include optional insurance, taxes, the Vehicle
Licensing fee, the applicable Airport Concession Recovery Fee and the
Hawaii Highway Revenue surcharge ($3/day). Renters will be responsible for
all charges directly to the rental location.
Daily rentals are based on a 24 hour period. Weekly rates are based on
6 or 7 consecutive days rental on one island only. |

Late Return Charge: Rates are based on a
24 hour rental period. Late returns are assessed an hourly charge at a
rate equal to 1/3 the daily rate up to but not exceeding the daily rate.
Molokai rates are
higher and selection is limited.
24 hour advance booking recommended. No other coupons or
discounts apply. All rentals are subject to
Dollar's standard terms and conditions in effect on the rental date. All prices USD and subject to HI
taxes. All rates, taxes, options, and additional charges are subject to
change without notice. Debit Cards: Customers using debit
cards to qualify to rent at the beginning of the rental will be subject to
a debit card screening, which may impact the customer's credit evaluation.
If the screening fails to meet our debit card criteria, the customer will
be required to present a major credit card in order to qualify to rent. A
hold will be placed on all credit/debit cards for the estimated amount of
the rental plus 15% OR a minimum of $250.00, whichever is greater. We will
remove the hold at the end of the rental when the final charges are
settled. |

$24.99/day |
DOLLAR will waive a renter's responsibility for any loss or damage to a
Dollar vehicle, unless the renter has not complied with the Rental
Agreement. LDW is not insurance.

SLI
$12.99/day |
provides the renter or any additional authorized driver as listed in
the Rental Agreement, with automobile liability coverage against third
party claims for bodily injury, including death, and property damage
resulting from an automobile accident in the DOLLAR vehicle, during the
rental period, in excess of the coverages provided under the Rental
Agreement up to a maximum protection of $1,000,000 combined single limit
per occurrence. SLI does not provided coverage for uninsured and
underinsured motorist protection. |
PAI/PEP
$4.99/day |
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) provides renter with medical and
death benefits in and out of the vehicle. Provides passengers with medical
benefits for current incident.
Personal Effects Protection (PEP) provides some benefits for selected
items that were stolen from rental vehicle.

UMP
$6.95/day |
Uninsured Motorist Protection (UMP) provides the renter, any
authorized additional driver and anyone else occupying a DOLLAR vehicle
while operated by the renter or an additional authorized driver, with
coverage for injuries and damages caused by an owner or driver of an
uninsured or underinsured third party vehicle. This coverage is excess
over any uninsured motorist insurance available to the renter and provides
up to $1,000,000 combined single limit per occurrence. |
Frequent Flyer Plans: If you are a member of a participating
frequent flyer program, you can earn miles with your Dollar car rental.
Simply give your frequent flyer number to the agent at the car rental
counter, when picking up your car. Dollar charges a 50¢ handling fee
to process frequent flyer claims.
